Final of 2015 Miss World to start in China's Hainan
The final of the 2015 Miss World beauty pageant will kick off in #Sanya of south China's Hainan Province on December 19. 129 beautiful women from more than 120 countries and regions are preparing to compete for the crown.

for the crown.
The final contest will be held in the Beauty Crown Grand Theatre, which was built in 2003 specifically for Miss World competitions. The reigning Miss World, Rolene Strauss of South Africa will crown her successor.
All contestants will stay at the Beauty Crown Sanya Hotel. Meanwhile,
they have challenges in several categories to meet, such as Sports and
Fitness, Top Model, the Beauty with a Purpose Project, a charity gala
event and a Talent and Multi Media Challenge.
Yuan Lu, who was crowned Miss World China 2015 this November, will represent China in the upcoming Miss World pageant. Yuan, 21, is a junior at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications.
This year, the contest finally announced it will scrap the bikini
competition, which has been part of the pageant since 1951. Julia
Morley, chairwoman of the Miss World Organization, said in July: "I
really don't need to see women walking up and down in their bikinis. It
doesn't do anything for the woman. And it doesn't do anything for any of
us."
In addition, the Miss World contest will have a live telecast from Sanya at almost the same time as the 64th Miss Universe in Las Vegas. This will be the first time since their inception that both pageants will have a back-to-back broadcast.
