Notification Tones For Samsung Note: this guide applies only to Samsung smartphones running Android Jellybean (version 4.1.2) and Windows PCs. In order to set a custom notification sound for your Samsung J5 you must place the sound file you wish to use in the Notifications folder on your phone's memory card. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Right-click on the sound file on your PC that you wish to use as a notification sound on your smartphone. Click on Copy in the context menu. Note: this sound file must be an mp3. 2. Connect your smartphone to the PC with your USB data cable. 3. Your smartphone will show you different options for how it can connect to your PC. Touch the option USB mass storage. 4.
