Think you have to break the bank to stay on top of the changing
trends and fashion seasons? Wrong. Sure, haute couture items from the
runway will cost you an arm and a leg, but there’s a way to stay up to
date with this year’s fall fashion trends for any budget.
We’re here to tell you about the trends and how to make them work for your wardrobe, and more importantly, your wallet.
1. Chunky, oversized rings are in.
Everyone’s going to be looking for bold, statement rings this fall.
For rings that have a lot to say but don’t cost a lot of money, head to
an accessories store like Claire’s, or, for even better deals, your
local thrift store. Costume jewelry isn’t that expensive if you look in
the right place.
2. Big black boots — find them at the consignment store.
Black boots with chunky heels are making a comeback. They were
pretty “in” during the early 2000s, too, so you’ll probably be able to
find them for next to nothing at thrift shops, consignment stores, and
garage sales. Happy hunting!

3. Spring hemlines make your whole wardrobe do double duty.
This fall, flouncy, flirty hemlines are going to be in. Good news,
that means you’ll be able to keep your mid-length skirt out of storage
and let them get plenty of use this fall. Talk about getting plenty of
bang out of the bucks you’ve already spent.
4. Go for gray!
Believe it or not, 50 shades of gray are one of this year’s fall
fashion trends. Light gray, dark gray, blue-ish gray, heather gray —
any kind of gray! To really achieve the look, don’t be afraid to mix
different grays and different layers of gray. Chances are, you probably
already have a few options waiting in your closet.
5. Stealing from the boys.
Androgynous wardrobe pieces, or stuff straight from the closet of
your brother or boyfriend are going to be all the rage this season.
Borrow some loose-fitting t-shirts, roomy jackets, or men’s cut jeans
to stay on top of this trend without having to hit the store.

It’s easier than you think to incorporate the fall fashion trends
into your wardrobe without spending a lot of money. Trends come and go
every season, so don’t blow your paycheck on a few pieces when the
clothes you need are probably lurking in your closet or at the thrift
store.

O ne month ago, I tested a virtual reality headset called the HTC Vive Pre. The Pre was a development kit created by gaming behemoth Valve and smartphone maker HTC, and it was one of the most exciting new pieces of hardware I’ve had the pleasure of writing about — a device that offered full-body, room-scale VR. The headset above is not the Vive Pre. It’s the final consumer edition Vive that’s coming out today, although it looks almost identical — the branding is new, and the small focus rod on the bottom is ridged instead of smooth, but I still sometimes worry I’m picking up the wrong set by accident. What’s changed is the context. The Pre was an obviously unfinished device that never went on sale, complete with software glitches and half-finished games. The Vive is a real piece of consumer hardware that you can go online and pay $800 for right this minute. It’s coming out a week after the Oculus Rift, a competing headset with impeccable polish but limited amb...
The Even-Odd Formula Will Work For Delhi, We Have Beijing's 'Parade-Blue' Clear Sky To Prove It Being a Delhite the last few days have been tough; torn between my moral responsibility towards city's climate and the love for driving. After AAP government came up with its genius plan to eliminate half of the city's cars for a cleaner Delhi, I have heard multiple theories from both the for and against sides. But I was still not sure which side I would like to pick. But then I came across the 'parade blue' skies of Beijing; and now I am a believer! The Chinese capital is one of the most, if not the most, polluted capital cities in the world with the smog even shutting down the entire city for days on a stretch. But all this was changed as the city geared up t o host its greatest military parade - a showcase marking the 70th anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II. CNN Hundreds of factories were shut during this time, while half of Beijing's f...
